Community Farming Activities

The Community Farming Project supports children and their families to receive basic food security their wellbeing. The farm produces hearty crops like cassava, green bananas (matooke), cabbages, sweet potatoes, and beans. The yield from the farming is used to feed our children in the Lunch Program (their incentive to come to school) and cooperative members (the mothers and grandmothers) receive a share of the excess crops to feed their families.
